Brooklyn Bridge Park

April 27, 2018

Recently I took a little trip down into Brooklyn to wander around Brooklyn Bridge Park...

I put together a little guide + my expiernece down there!

I was shocked to see how open, clean, and all the open space there was; but nothing was as beautiful as the view. You can see Downtown Manhattan for miles through.

How to get there:

- drive over the brooklyn bridge, follow the signs to the park, and take the road down to Atlantic Ave to find a hidden parking garage! (it is $9 per half hour)

- take the F train to York Street & walk.

- take the 1, 2, 3 train to Brooklyn Bridge to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to get there

my maxi dress is from verge girl. i'm completely obsessed with the fit of it, and the way it looks on me, i think it's the perfect length and color for the spring/summer time! it's so flattering on any body type because of the length of it, and i think the pattern on it is so perfect for the spring! i love dresses that are tight on the top but flow nicely at the bottom!

No matter which side of the park you start on, make sure you walk all the way to the end. If you start closer on the Brooklyn Bridge side, the further down you walk, you'll find basketball courts, roller skating, ping pong, picnic tables, a little beach. Unfortunately, you cannot go into the water on the beach, but it's nice to walk on, or sit and have a sandwich.

this outfit was so comfy + colorful! i'm wearing my new favorite top from Verge Girl + a pair of white shorts from Princess Polly. this is such a simple outfit to throw on for whatever occasion throughout the spring + summer time. i'm also wearing some new kicks from adidas, thanks to my bestie, Marisol <3

I hope you enjoyed this blog post & my outfits from this day! I really adored the Brooklyn Bridge Park & will definitely be making my way back soon :~)

I'll also be doing a blogpost on DUMBO (which is the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge Park) so stay tuned for that :~))
